Dr. Sheppard recently removed my gallbladder at the Madison Surgery Center. The care and concern provided by Dr.Sheppard and his surgical team and office staff was excellent. Dr. Sheppard has a very nice bedside manner (including praying with me before surgery) and spent considerable time with me before and after surgery to ensure my questions and concerns were addressed. We need more doctors like him! Highly recommend Dr. Sheppard for any general surgery needs.

Dr Sheppard did an outstanding job repairing my umbilical hernia and have felt no discomfort or experienced any complications. The incision was small left an unnoticeable scar. I tend to keloid with the smallest scratch but the procedure he used left no scar at all. Very pleased with his handiwork! I also took great comfort with his prayers prior to the surgery. Would highly recommend Dr. Sheppard, guess that is why he is known as the “Hernia Nerd”
