Dr. Sheppard and his staff were very welcoming and friendly. They very quickly made my Wife and I comfortable. Dr. Sheppard explained everything so clearly and completely and made sure all our questions were answered. After we were finished, I am confident that I have the best doctor and team to perform the surgery I need.
Went in for a consultation for gallbladder surgery. Dr Shepperd, his nurse, and Anne who scheduled my surgery were all very informative and friendly. Dr Sheppard gave me lots of information on the surgery and what to expect.
Dr. Sheppard spent a lot of time discussing my condition despite me not needing surgery. From what I have heard in the medical community, Dr. Sheppard does a beautiful hernia surgery. That’s why I saw him. He can do laparoscopic or open repairs as indicated. He explains a patients condition thoroughly yet in terms that are understandable. He was very kind. I was in need of having hernia surgery and I prayed and asked God to lead me to a professional, Christian surgeon and God lead me through Google to Dr. Sheppard. He was very knowledgeable and kind-hearted during my 1st visit. My surgery went very well and right before I went back into the surgical room, Dr. Sheppard prayed with me and my family. I had surgery with Dr. Sheppard to repair an umbilical hernia. From my initial consultation to the actually surgery itself, both Dr. Sheppard and his office staff were terrific to work with. Dr. Sheppard was patient, listened to and answered my questions, made accommodations for my fear of anesthesia, and most importantly took care of the hernia.
Explained whole procedures & then answered all questions with reasonable explanations. Explained important surgery requirements so both my wife & I understood. Told us surgery time and expectation of time it will take. Used understandable language with Connie & I. He had been recommended to me several friends. This meeting gave me more confidence and made this procedure seem like something that would be great to get done now. He also instilled confidence in me about his ability.
Dr. Sheppard listened to my concerns, explained the surgical process , and gave me confidence about the procedure. Most importantly, Dr. Sheppard prayed over me and the nurses the morning of surgery. He’s a great surgeon and Godly man, what more can a patient ask for. I’m 1 month post the surgery and my healing has been fast, painless, and almost complete. The incision has healed nice. I highly recommend Dr. Sheppard and his team of medical professionals.
