Fun Thai in LA – In the back corner of a small strip mall sits Rambutan Thai. There's not much to the parking area but when you enter this quiet Thai resturant there's a comfortable feeling a great food. The staff is exceptionally certious and helpful and the food to great. My wife and I have been a number of times now and each time the food and the service has been outstanding and consistant. muy buena comida Thai – Cool spot for a date. Took forever to be seated, even with reservations. Good drinks and good food.
Awesome food! – This place has great noodle dishes. The service isn't that good, but it's worth it to eat the delicious noodles!
Too much fun. – It's nice to have a place that's not trying to be something it's not. Good drinks, good food and quality entertainment. No bottle service, over priced "VIP" areas or "who you know" doormen. More of a put your feet up kinda vibe. Check it out.
Hmm – I thought I would be the first to rate this place in Silverlake. Friday night - Music (dntel, timo mas, mark farina) - Cocktails (mosquito bite) - will go back.
Up to expectations – 3 of my buddies and I tried this place on Saturday night and it was very impressive. We had a good time with the wait staff and the food was very good. No complaints from a group that won't hesitate to point out a flaw or two. Since it was just me and the boys, I look forward to taking my wife there for a nice romantic dinner. I have had a lot of Thai food and this was right up there with the best.
Saturday Night - Good times – Nice lounge with great cocktails and Thai appetisers. NO DANCING - more of a "chill" space to chat with friends and listen to dj's. Pretty good DJ's on Saturdays.
Great lounge! Great music! – This is such a necessary addition to the neighborhood. It's a great lounge-- cool tunes and of course, these guys don't mess around with their Thai food. It's my favorite Thai in the area, and now I can go chill and listen to phat grooves in the evenings.
