Took my wife to have a fasting blood test on 18 May 2020 at Azle, Texas. Was informed that the order from her doctor had not been received. We sat in parking lot trying to reach the doctor's office but could not get a human on the line. We went home and after 1300 the doctor's office finally answered the phone and apologized after assuring us it would be sent that day. I used Quest for COVID-19 Antibody Test that I took on Monday, May 11. I followed the email prompts and signed up for MyQuest. That evening they sent me an email stating that my results were in and I can view them at MyQuest. I've been logging in all week and NO RESULTS. I've tried calling every Quest phone number imaginable and NOBODY ANSWERS the phone -ever. I've stayed on the line for two (2) hours. I am writing this due to the many problems I’ve had with Quest’s billing procedure. I am a dually-insured patient. I have both **** ***** **** ****** as my primary, and CO Medicaid and my secondary. If you are trying to get tested and think you will get service please go somewhere else. Once they get you money and draw your blood you have no way to contact anyone via phone, internet or the App. After 8 business days no results and no way to find out if anything is good or bad. Only option I have now is to go back to the office and I'm sure to only get a dumb stare and a phone number that goes to a mailbox that is not set up yet. I have received a letter from Credit Collection Services asking for $15.29 for date of service 8/14/10 I have written, faxed and email Quest since 10/1/19 until present at least 5 times to advise them that my insurance company has advised that they paid Quest and I ionly owe $12.88. I have asked Quest to send me a bill for $12.88 correction and I will payi, but they ignore my correspondence or they are scamming. terrible experience.... Quest website allows me to schedule lab test appointment online for Sunday early morning to 2581 Samaritan Drive lab for blood draw. I went Sunday morning and the lab is closed (a note at the door that it doesn't open on Sunday anymore). what a waste of time and putting myself in extra risk during covid 19 time to go into hospital. After my visit I thought Quest was fine, but mediocre. Then I didn't get the test results after a month. I made the mistake of trying to contact them. Their website and phone system is the best of example of hostile design I've ever encountered—and that isn't praise. You got in circles to find a phone number. Then the phone system spun me in circles for half an hour, with each iteration of the same four prompts getting quieter and quieter like I was slowly getting routed to hell. The Wesley Chapel Florida Location: They drew 4 vials for four different common labs. Two of the ordered labs were done and the other two were not. Although, the reflex part of one of the missing labs was drawn. Reflex means you have to result the original lab to see weather or not you need to run the second lab. They just skipped to the second part and didn’t get the results of the first part. In place of my other missing lab, I got results for a vanadium level.
