Never even filed my labs with my insurance and then use a sketchy collection agency to try and collect.
Thieves Without A Gun... VA told me to go to Rio Grande NJ facility to get blood drawn. I was first to be there, but 2 others that came in later went first. Then about 2 hours later I was called. Walking back with girl she was looking at sheet (that VA sent) and was saying we cant do this we cant do that SO NOTHING WAS DONE. Their Customer Service is so Rude! I called regarding my payment plan and they acted as if they were unwilling to assist me. You either want my money or you don't. I don't see what the point of setting up a payment plan is if I have to call every month to make the payment?
This is a terrible company. I was able to get a doctor's order for a test, however they did not put it through. I ended up having to waste money for the test even though it should have been covered by insurance. I had the order sent twice. Phone calls to resolve the situation resulted in hangups or being passed off to other people without the situation being resolved. This review is for the location in Forest Hills, NY. I visited here last week for the second time and I happened to get the same lab technician which I had bad experiences on both times.I made an appointment for blood work, checked in as usual and went inside without any problems. Magda is the lab technician that helped me and after she pulled up my records she told me that I had a balance due on the account and asked how I would like to pay. They are horrible!!!!! I didnt even want to give them one star!!!! It took me 45 minutes to get an actual human being on the phone to ask about the length of my test. The automated service is horrible!!!!! Then the woman I spoke with was rude and inconsiderate and had the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Im 66 and on Medicare. I went to quest at its North Fort Myers, Fl. location as directed by my doctor for an annual set of routine blood tests. According to Medicares web site none of these tests would cost anything out of pocket. The doctor listed the billing code as Z00.00 which I understand to be the correct ICM-10 code for these annual tests. The lab tech informed me that I would have a co pay however of $429 (out of pocket) before my blood drawn. She said the codes were wrong but could not tell me the correct codes hers... read more
Many customers that had been fasting overnight waited in line (Saratoga Blvd) for the office to open at 7 a.m. When the door opened we were then told, "no more walkins, appointment only." Walkins had been the way of business for years... There was NO sign on the door, no notice of any kind. We were turned away without medical assistance. Stated by staff, even if we made an appointment at that moment it would be several hours before our blood would be drawn. Only then could we eat. Terrible situation for a diabetic.
