This is in regards to the Middletown, ct branch. The techs need more training. Both times I've been there I have to call my doctor's office because they can't figure out what tests are requested. They claim the lab codes aren't specific and ask me to call. Also almost sent me away without doing my 1 hour glucose test. When I reminded the tech she just told me to just return in an hour. Billing cannot get it right no matter how often you call to tell them that they are billing the incorrect insurance company. Their lab also did not follow the doctors prescription. They only performed part of the blood work. Then I had to go back and get stuck again only to have their billing department bill the wrong insurance AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Totally inept in all ways. If insurance would allow I would go to another lab. They don't deserve any stars!

We will never, ever go back to the Boerne, Texas Quest Diagnostics. My wife and I both had fasting blood work appointments scheduled for the same time. We arrived early and checked in on their box. When they called us back, they asked for our Doctor's orders, but we were under the impression that our Doctor had called them in, which was not the case. Quest should be out of business for scamming customers. They do not bill correctly and you cannot get a hold of a real human person. Standard pregnancy/progesterone blood test is $250 bucks! Simply outrageous, this same test is less than $45 at other labs. This place should be investigated for shady billing.
Dealing with Quest has been literally the worst customer experience I've ever had in what's been a borderline nightmare. Quest's staff can't be depended on to perform their jobs properly, leading to a horrendous ordeal for customers. It's clear that their employees aren't trained properly and the organization has no ability to solve problems when they occur. I went to an urgent care center for STD testing. Was unaware that they used quest diagnostics for the tests but will never again go to a clinic that uses them for testing, nor will I ever get a test from Quest Diagnostics again. I never leave bad reviews for businesses as I usually like to see them thrive and give them the benefit of the doubt, however Quest Diagnostics charged me 3x the normal market price for a standard STD panel. Not a reliable source for testing. I recently went in for testing, and discovered all their electronics was not operating. I handed them my paperwork from the doctor, and they drew 8 viles of blood. Today, I received an email that my results were ready and I could view them on MyQuest. However, when I logged into my account the information I was hoping to find was not there. do not order a at home covid test kit, it never arrived, and there is no way to talk to anyone in customer service, it took several attempts through the chat bot and found out the word to use in the chat bot to get to customer service. their call support is designed to keep you on hold indefinitely if you are lucky enough to muddle through the prompts...still waiting and a loss of $150
