Quest Diagnostics is an unscrupulous business. They waited FIVE MONTHS to send me my FIRST billing. Then had the nerve to **** it as 90 days past due and demand IMMEDIATE payment. It is not MY fault their billing department is not doing their job. This billing should have been billed as current, not past due. Use a different lab.
Quest Diagnostics is using COVID as an excuse for not answering their phones for billing questions and resolution. This has been going on for weeks. If they can't have a human answer their phones to resolve billing issues, they shouldn't be in business.
DECEPTIVE PRACTICES I conducted a search for a Covid 19 antibody test with a script provided by my Doctor. I found Quest Diagnostics performed this test, locally. No charges or fees were disclosed at the time of scheduling on the website or within the cancellation website portal email confirmation that occurred on 10/22/2021. If I could give this place 0 stars - it still would not reflect the poor experience that we've had. I honestly don't even know where to start, but I'll try:Employees are rude. They made me make an appointment to drop off my 9 year old's stool sample...she wasn't present, this was simply to drop off the sample. I had blood test 7/28/2021. I did not have insurance at that time and before any service they asked me to pay full amount which was almost $900 and I paid it full. And now October 19, 2021 its been a week they are sending me text message to pay the $25.70 balance. And in the detail seems like every test that have done increased about $3 or so and addition of all those tests were done 3 months ago , I have to pay increased amount now after 3 months. This company took my blood sample, and then billed me for the work. It has been two months, and they still have not sent the results to my Physician.
If i could give a negative star, I would! QUEST is the worst lab in all of *******. If I had used a lab outside of *******, I would say it's the worst in the world. I have taken my son to their lab twice now and BOTH time they did NOT drawl the lab test that we were there for. They did drawl every other lab though. Quest website is awful. Their APP is worthless. It is most ridiculous that it takes more than four business days to get results of a drug screen! Day five and still no upload on portal. Still says specimen taken. My blood test with *** Differential comes back within 48 hours. I would not recommend Quest as a drug screening agent for your Company!
