Classy & Fabulous I received unbelievable service at The Purple Parasol. (Never going to David's Bridal again!) Their wedding gowns are so unique and are nothing comparable at other bridal shops I've tried on at. They carry so many lines, I was shocked to see their selection! Really stressful visit... I was a bridesmaid in a 2003 Wedding and the experience was unforgettable for all of the wrong reasons. We went into the store excited to find our bride that perfect dress. The staff wanted to make that as difficult as possible. They didn't want us looking through the gowns (we were very careful in our handling of them), insisting they knew what would look best. In Bad Taste I hope that the owner of Purple Parasol reads these reviews. Overall Purple Parasol has a wide selection of dresses but some bad attitudes. Iâm shocked to read the other reviews and realize they treat everyone just as bad as they did me. From now on I will be reading reviews before I go into a place. Great experience! I had a great experience here with my whole wedding party. The only thing I can think about the bad reviews are that these people have problems at all the places they go to and look for trouble. My wedding dress was from here, bridesmaids dresses, tuxes, flower girls, etc. Almost all were altered and fit fine...there was a bridesmaid dress that needed an extra fitting to make it fit just right, but that's to be expected. Memorable Experience! My 1st Ever Prom Dress Shopping Experience with my Freshman Daughter and it went Great. The customer Service was good, the choices were good, the prices were Great! We had an eventful time along with my parents. She tried on 3 dresses, chose 1. Altercations are Free! Rude Sales, Dirt Dresses This place was HORRIBLE!! Twice we went here and both times, we couldn't get any help, the dresses were stained, two dresses were ripped or the zipper was broken. The sales lady would not help us either time. After muddling through trying on a few wedding dresses (by the way, I had a $1200 budget for a dress - cash), we left and I felt like I should have spray disinfected my entire body! Pageant Dresses Yesssss My experience at Purple Parasol was awesome. They helped me find every dress I needed for my International Pageant, got everything hemmed and steamed and ready to go for me to carry on the plane. Loved My shopping Experience I purchased several dresses and accessories recently at the purple parasol and my experience was absolutely fabulous. We were treated very well by all of the staff, felt very comfortable, and will definately be back for any future formal wear needs. We actually ordered some things through them as well and they were very timely with our order. I would highly recommend The Purple Parasol for any of your formal wear needs.
