The worst experiance of my life I went into the store to buy a prom dress. I found one, and then was supposed to have it hemmed and altered. They called me back and they did a horrible job of altering. The bustle wasn't where it was supposed to be, they did a horrible job on the hem, there were snags everywhere and the beads were still loose. They did not clean my dress which I also paid for. Great first time experience I went in with my fiance 30 minutes before they closed, i only went in with the intentions to see if they had a maggie sottero dress i was looking for, they didnt have it but she took me to the back room anyway and insisted on showing me dresses that looked like that one, and were in my budget and what i was looking for. Sadly, I do NOT recommend I do not recommend Purple Parsol to anyone. When I was in high school 10 years ago it was the same negative experience. Extremely rude staff, HORRIBLE alterations, and very expensive as well. It is such a shame that we have such limited options in the Tri Cities. do NOT go to this store -- nothing but horrible outcomes, service, and prices. I do recommend visiting Fashion Corner. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! SAVE YOURSELF B4 IT'S 2 LATE!! The customer service is awful!!! TERRIBLE!!!!!!! This is the WORST CUSTOMER service I have ever incountered. I have been awaiting my dress for 3 months now, after being guaranted it would take two weeks. My dress did not have to be ordered, just altered. After calling several times I am getting no where except hung up on and told "I've had it with you" The manager Cheryl Bruer and the seamstress Sharlene have got to be the rudest people I have encountered. do not recommend I brought my daughter to the Tri Cities from Seattle because her grandmother wanted to buy her her senior prom dress. Although the Purple Parasol did have a large selection of gowns it was not out of the ordinary, and the customer service was poor. The staff was rather unfriendly, giving one the impression they felt they were doing you a favor by serving you. I LOVE EM!!!! I found the dress of my dreams there! i made an app like most people should know 2 do! Any who they have BEAUTIFUL DRESSES! AMAZING the reason they cut out the tags is so people wont go look for them some were else if they like the dress!!!! They gave me a great price on all my dresses and tuxes i love them! HORRIBLE! NEVER GIVE PURPLE PARASOL BUSINESS!!!! I am in the midst of a crisis for my best friend's wedding and needed five pairs of shoes re-dyed because they were dyed the wrong color. The owner or whoever I spoke with on the phone said she had 30 years of experience doing what I needed to have done on these shoes (in a short turn time) but she refused to touch someone else shoes because she didn't make a profit on them! Purple Parasol Bride N' Formal is the worse store in the STATE!! I just cant beleive the crap that goes on in this store. They are liers, make you pay for things before you see them and are super shaddy. They are so rude and find ways to change the subject when there being questioned for their shaddy work.
