I am sad to even have to give them one star...horribly rude I was looking for a top to go with my dress. I needed to find one with sleeves to be modest enough for my high school.Since the Tri-Cities is kinda lacking on the formal-wear stores, I tried the purple parasol.First the manager told me not to even bother shopping at her store because I already had a dress. Deff recommend! I went in to get my sweet 16 dress and the lady helping me was very helpful. She actually picked out my dress. They helped with the alterations and made me feel welcome. I would highly reccomend going there. David's Bridal doesn't really have the best dresses for sweet 16's.
Best Around! These guys are the best around! They were amazing with my wife, finding the perfect dress from their endless selection. The tuxes for our wedding looked great and the service was outstanding!
worst customer service omg!!! i have never been treated so badly. this place needs some training on customer service if they want to stay in business.
love them I was in my friends quince and she ordered our dresses from there and hers too and everytime we went in there for fittings the laddies that work there couldn't have been nicer and then when one of the dresses got messed up they fixed it for us that day and were extremely nice about it and apologizing. I now go back there proms, my sweet 16, and homecomings and love it.
I LOVE PURPLE PARASOL! Personally, I'm wondering who these idiots are that have so much time on their hands to write such terrible things. Last week a Muslim woman went into the store because she went to David's bridal looking for a dress and they told her that they had no dresses in the store that would fit her size 8 frame. Obviously they had dresses to fit her but it was simply because she was Muslim. rude but great selection they may be slightly rude but we found a wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses in under 20 minutes. no problems for us and i'll be going back for my day.
who are these other reviewers? I went to the Purple Parasol with some hesitation, based on the reviews. But, I assume that the people that reviewed the store have trouble anywhere that they go. I had a wonderful experience, as did my wife. Some of these reviews tell about experiences that they had many years ago, some as long ago as the 1980's! My wife enjoyed the free alterations and I enjoyed the smile on my wife's face as she looked so beautiful at our wedding. I advise that you use your own judgement and go to the store.... read more
never go there! I too went to find my wedding dress a few years back. The service was aweful,the ladies were absolutely beyond rude. I ended up leaving in tears & went to another store,which unfortunately for you newly engaged ladies is out of business,and I had a wonderful experience.
