UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!! AVOID this place at all cost! I actually wrote a nice review for this placeat one time. I had previosly only dealt with them for Prom gowns. Then I made the mistake of going there for a WEDDING dress as a return customer for my soon to be daughter in law. I apoligize to anyone that read my review and went there. If you cant take my word for it or all the other horrible reviews please do yourself a favor and check with the local police and BBB. Happiest Bride To anyone who left negative comments about Purple Parasol, they are so wrong. I went in there looking for invitations but didn't have anymore. So I asked if they had a certain Maggie Sottero gown in stock and to my advantage they did. With out appointment they took me in the back and was able to try it on. I was originally going to get it in the Fashion Corner over in Sunny Side which they didn't even have in stock. Don't do business with them I went to Purple Parasol for my own wedding needs and was shocked at how lousy their service was. I got my bridesmaid's dresses there, but when they came, they were not all the same. Purple Parasol refused to right the problem. Five years later when my sister was planning her wedding, she made the same mistake I made of taking her business there. They ordered her wedding dress and kept it selling her the floor modle. when did size 14 become the new size 6? Determined to find the "perfect" prom dress, I got in my car to make the hour long drive to Tri-Cities to check out Purple Parasol. I went in the store last prom season, and was told that if I couldn't afford a $300 dress to not bother trying it on (I bought a $500 dress from Fashion Corner). Pageant Dresses Yesssss My experience at Purple Parasol was awesome. They helped me find every dress I needed for my International Pageant, got everything hemmed and steamed and ready to go for me to carry on the plane. This has been the best customer service yet since I started doing pageants. We will definitely be a returning customer. Thanks PP Staff your the greatest
Fast and friendly, but the reviewers are right. Went in for a quick look, but they had an immediate opening to try on dresses and consult on them. The woman (obviously the one in charge) was very quick and picked great dresses. They did have great prices and a big selection. I actually bought a floor model that they were trying to get rid of. If you wanna get yelled at, this is the place for you! Don't Shop Here! Long story short, don't shop here. Recieved a product that was not what was paid for. Tried to be mature, spoke to the associate and the manager and was yelled at both times. A day I'll never get back Every girl dreams of the first time they put on their wedding dress. Horrible Experience I'm in an upcoming wedding and the wedding dress + 7 bridesmaids dresses were ordered with purple parasol. The staff were unnecessarily rude and made the experience unpleasant for the bride. To top things off, none of the dresses were the correct size, seemingly apparent. When it comes to customer service, they have a long way to go...
