Good selection, Horrible alterations, dishonest staff The Purple Parasol has a great selection of gowns, but that where the positives end. Please, please, DO NOT have your alterations done through them. I read these reviews before scheduling my alterations and despite the bad reviews and against my MOH advice, I had my dress altered by Purple Parasol. All I can say, is I shouldve listened. I LOVE PURPLE PARASOL! Personally, I'm wondering who these idiots are that have so much time on their hands to write such terrible things. Last week a Muslim woman went into the store because she went to David's bridal looking for a dress and they told her that they had no dresses in the store that would fit her size 8 frame. Obviously they had dresses to fit her but it was simply because she was Muslim. worst experience ever i went in there today to try and find my wedding dress on a buget worse mistake i made! the lady was rude forcing dresses on me and talking bad about ordering online. she told me my boobs were not big enough for the dress and i was too short and was forcing the alteration at there office on me. she was not listening to anything i was saying. she kept cutting me off. all over i would not even rate this one star! believe me i am not returning to the Kennewick location ever again even though i found a dres... read more
love them I was in my friends quince and she ordered our dresses from there and hers too and everytime we went in there for fittings the laddies that work there couldn't have been nicer and then when one of the dresses got messed up they fixed it for us that day and were extremely nice about it and apologizing. I now go back there proms, my sweet 16, and homecomings and love it.
Good grief These ladies that run this place need to crawl back under the rock they came from and start over. I had to be fitted for a bridesmaid gown that I wasn't ordering myself--the bride was handling those purchases on the east coast for us--and after explaining to the consultant that I wasnt purchasing a gown in her store, she wouldn't fit me without charging me $10! This place is terrible!!!!! Who are these people leaving POSITIVE reviews? Have you NEVER been to a "real" bridal/formal boutique? This place is a joke. It's filthy, needles all over the floor. Happiest Bride To anyone who left negative comments about Purple Parasol, they are so wrong. I went in there looking for invitations but didn't have anymore. So I asked if they had a certain Maggie Sottero gown in stock and to my advantage they did. With out appointment they took me in the back and was able to try it on. I was originally going to get it in the Fashion Corner over in Sunny Side which they didn't even have in stock. Great Selection I had read several reviews before going to the Purple Parasol, many of which complained about the customer service. I decided to go anyway, having not yet found a dress that I wanted, and when I first got there, the outside of the store did not hold much hope.
