Don't do business with them I went to Purple Parasol for my own wedding needs and was shocked at how lousy their service was. I got my bridesmaid's dresses there, but when they came, they were not all the same. Purple Parasol refused to right the problem. Five years later when my sister was planning her wedding, she made the same mistake I made of taking her business there. They ordered her wedding dress and kept it selling her the floor modle. oh my go... are they kidding? My daughter's and myself went there the summer of 2007 to look for a bridal gown. We had an appointment for this time. We were told they didn't have time to show us anything, also that we needed to make a decision without even viewing any gowns odd to say the least. The woman that was so unhelpful was extreemly rude. worst customer service omg!!! i have never been treated so badly. this place needs some training on customer service if they want to stay in business.
Great first time experience I went in with my fiance 30 minutes before they closed, i only went in with the intentions to see if they had a maggie sottero dress i was looking for, they didnt have it but she took me to the back room anyway and insisted on showing me dresses that looked like that one, and were in my budget and what i was looking for. In Bad Taste I hope that the owner of Purple Parasol reads these reviews. Overall Purple Parasol has a wide selection of dresses but some bad attitudes. I??m shocked to read the other reviews and realize they treat everyone just as bad as they did me. From now on I will be reading reviews before I go into a place. Huge selection I have been here searching for the prom dresses and also my wedding dress. I didn't find it but they had some unique things unlike anywhere else in the Tri-Cities. Along with the formal dresses there were plenty of pageant gowns and accessories like veils, bowties, canes, tuxes/rentals. You can go in and rent a tux for the SAME DAY.
Beautiful on the outside, rotten on the inside. What seems to be the best bridal shop in town is not what it seems. Though this shop has been around for years, I doubt it has kept it's customers coming back. do not recommend I brought my daughter to the Tri Cities from Seattle because her grandmother wanted to buy her her senior prom dress. Although the Purple Parasol did have a large selection of gowns it was not out of the ordinary, and the customer service was poor. The staff was rather unfriendly, giving one the impression they felt they were doing you a favor by serving you.
