Unprofessionalism and Fraud of this company I had purchased my wedding gown from the Purple Parasol for my wedding in April. I had placed the order in for a size 6, come to find out at a later date that they had ordered a size 8. I was very irritated that they had not ordered the size I had requested but also that they did it without notifying me. BUNCH OF OLD RUDE B!@#&!S The worst company is the Tri- Cities!! I have never never been treated so bad by a bunch of old B!@#&%! in my life time. IF YOU UPSET EASILY, DONT GO THERE, IT MAY RUIN YOUR "DAY" I have had three very bad experiences with this store. First was when my girl friend was getting married and I was her maid of honor. Loved My shopping Experience I purchased several dresses and accessories recently at the purple parasol and my experience was absolutely fabulous. We were treated very well by all of the staff, felt very comfortable, and will definately be back for any future formal wear needs. We actually ordered some things through them as well and they were very timely with our order. I would highly recommend The Purple Parasol for any of your formal wear needs. Horrible If you enjoy being treated like crap then go on, head over to this store. I decided to go into the store even though I knew that the women were old and rude but it was a last resort and I gave in. Upon arriving at the store the whole esthatic is non appealing. Good selection, Horrible alterations, dishonest staff The Purple Parasol has a great selection of gowns, but that where the positives end. Please, please, DO NOT have your alterations done through them. I read these reviews before scheduling my alterations and despite the bad reviews and against my MOH advice, I had my dress altered by Purple Parasol. All I can say, is I shouldve listened. One of the Best Dress Shops in the Country I have never had a bad experience with these women. I started buying my gowns there in spring 2004. Every time I go into the store, I always leave with the exact gown I need (which is wonderful because I'm in between plus and regular sizes). When I wear the gowns, I always receive compliments on how I look and how gorgeous the dresses are. I even wore one of my gowns when I sang for royalty in Europe last year. Great Selection I had read several reviews before going to the Purple Parasol, many of which complained about the customer service.
