As a class A CDL holder, I thought it would be a great idea to purchase and extended coverage plan for my late model Cadillac Escalade. Unfortunately, now I don't believe my purchase was wise. My vehicle has been in the service department of the dealership since July 27, 2021. There's incompetency some where, I've had to find and purchase parts without the help of the dealership service department or Protect My Car. I PAID MY NO TY AMOUNT AND AS SOON AS I STARTED HAVING ISSUES WITH MY TRANSMISSION THEY STARTED TREATING ME VERY DIFFERENTLY. THEY FOUND EVERY REASON TO NOT PAY FOR MY CAR TO BE REPAIRED. THEY KEPT SAYING BE HONEST WITH ME AS IF I WAS LYING ABIUT GETTING MY OIL CHANGED HEN I HAD VALID RECEIPTS. THEY SAID THE INFO WAS NOT ON CARFAX WHICH I HAVE NO CONTROL OVER. THEY ARE RUDE AND A WASTE OF MONEY

I have been a loyal customer for over about 2.5 years and only had two claims with these people. All of a sudden I need them to help with my engine repair on my 2011 Ford Edge and the inspector say it's no oil in the car but the car indicated that the oil life at 56 percent. The real problem is that it needs a timing change job and it has a 18500 miles on it and they don't want to fix it but I paid my money faithfully. These people are robbers never will deal with them again.

Our records indicate that an engine claim was filed on 11/8/2021. We promptly scheduled an independent inspection of our customer's vehicle, which occurred the following day. Our notes further indicate that he inspection revealed no oil on the dipstick and our customer's claim was, unfortunately, denied due to lack of lubrication (Exclusion #2 of our customer's coverage plan states as follows: " 2. Anything that they can get out of paying they will. I'd like to know how many people have actually had their transmission replaced. They stop right at the bare minimum.

I recently had a transmission problem with my truck and called protect my car since that what i thought i was paying for.At first i thought everything was ok cause they recommend me the shop and sent a tow truck.And all of sudden get a call saying send service records of truck for 12 months i sent records of what i had done to my truck which showed all fluids in truck were good and proper oil changes no sign of transmission problem.long story short they denied the company to fix my truck and the dude Justin was very unprofes... read more

Your transmission was due for service at 97,500 miles. You purchased the coverage at 88,000 miles and your claim for the breakdown of your transmission was filed when your vehicle had 104,246 miles. Unfortunately, a couple of weeks ago I had to have an auto repair shop submit a claim to PMC in efforts to have my vehicle repaired. I was highly annoyed, frustrated, and ready to cancel my contract by the time Jason, a manager with PMC reached out to me today. At this point the process to have my vehicle repaired under my PMC Maintenance Plan was broken and I was not a happy, satisfied customer, at all.
