On 11/29/2021 I called PMC to find out EXACTLY how this policy works. I used to work in Customer service & I can honestly say it's not like it used to be AT ALL! When I called I spoke with Lacey T**** before the conversation started her Energy and Spirit Introduced itself first and was SOOOOO WELCOMED and REALLY made my Day!! I called with the intentions of canceling the policy BUT her welcoming, positive, magnetic energy really turned that around. They were very misleading and I was very faithful in my obligations and when he came down to the fact that my car needed some repairs they started throwing in some technicalities that I was not made aware of I was also told to leave my car at a destination but the company where I was getting service at told me I could not leave it there because they would not be responsible I informed protect my car of the situation they said take it to another service place I took it and then they said I should not have moved the car so tha... read more

In all due respect, your initial repair shop (Midas) started a transmission claim on 9/2/2021 and reported multiple fault codes (P0746, P0776 and P2808). That claim was closed when you removed the vehicle from the original repair facility. Twenty days later, you drove the vehicle to a second repair facility (AZ Quality). Our agents discussed these issues with MIdas and they indicated that they did not tell you to remove the vehicle. PMC has taken excellent care of me. First my transmission went out & they covered their part of the total cost at 75%. My vehicle was repaired and paid for within 2 weeks, I had no problems getting everything taken care of through the company. Years later while still a PMC Customer my engine gasket blew. My car is just getting old. As long as you stay on top of your oil changes and manufacturer's maintenance schedule doing everything possible to keep up with the repairs and needs of your vehicle. I've had a similar experience as some of the other 1 star reviews. I have an older vehicle and do my own maintenance. I keep my own notes as to when service is done. The vehicle is an 02 4Runner and I've owned it since 2004. That alone should tell you I've been taking care of it. When I first looked into this company and spoke to someone on the phone, they were somewhat aggressive about closing the deal. We see that a transmission claim was started on 11/2/2021. As discussed during the claims adjudication process, we require service records and/or proof that the covered vehicle received its transmission flush (per the vehicle manufacture's recommendations). We also ordered an independent inspection and the inspector's report indicates that the inspector did not see any transmission fluid on the dipstick when it was checked. As a class A CDL holder, I thought it would be a great idea to purchase and extended coverage plan for my late model Cadillac Escalade. Unfortunately, now I don't believe my purchase was wise. My vehicle has been in the service department of the dealership since July 27, 2021. I PAID MY NO TY AMOUNT AND AS SOON AS I STARTED HAVING ISSUES WITH MY TRANSMISSION THEY STARTED TREATING ME VERY DIFFERENTLY. THEY FOUND EVERY REASON TO NOT PAY FOR MY CAR TO BE REPAIRED. THEY KEPT SAYING BE HONEST WITH ME AS IF I WAS LYING ABIUT GETTING MY OIL CHANGED HEN I HAD VALID RECEIPTS. THEY SAID THE INFO WAS NOT ON CARFAX WHICH I HAVE NO CONTROL OVER. THEY ARE RUDE AND A WASTE OF MONEY
