I purchased this warranty in April. I have attempted to call them several times holding on the line for more than 20 mins without a representative ever answering. The one time a person did answer they again placed me on hold for over 30 minutes and never came back to the phone. I selected this warranty after getting a call from Aminas a "supposed" representative that was very convincing that this warranty was better than one I had already purchased with another company. I just had great experience with one of the best employee Protect My Car has. I can't say that for the rest of them he is very professional and he do care about his customer. I pray that Fernando A. get a promotion and a raise for such positive energy he displays over the phone. He is very very knowledgeable and appears to enjoy what he does for not only this Company but the clients as well. It is a fraud. The salesperson tells you not to worry about your car; they will take care of everything, bla bla bla, and more bla bla bla; once you have an issue and submit a claim, PMC will do the impossible to avoid paying for the repairs. Of course, the main thing is the records of our vehicles; they know no one keeps them as the Manufacturer specified in the book of maintenance. So, it is fraud and a scam. Having reviewed this matter, we stand behind the decision that was made on this customer's recent transmission claim. The inspection of our customer's vehicle revealed several important things. First, the vehicle was "modified" (over-sized tires that exceed PMC's capacity for the "Select" coverage plan that our customer was sold) and this information was not presented to PMC at the time of sale, or at any other time prior to the vehicle's inspection. I just made a phone call to Protect my Car to get a quote on an extended warranty for a used vehicle I just purchased. I regret not remembering the name of the associate I spoke to for this phone call but I was actually pretty pleased with the quote I was given. I have been shopping around and it was the best option so far for the price. I purchased this car 3/2021. Everything was fine until the end of February - March this year when I had difficulty steering my car so I took it to the GMC dealership in Watertown, CT, They said from the sound the car was making it was probably the steering pump. After they checked it out they said the power steering, the hoses, and the rack and pion needed to be replaced. A nice lady called me from Protect my Car and said that their service was better than ********** which I already have a plan with. So she connected me to another gentlemen that told me he could beat the price I was paying for ********** with a Platinum Plan. this plan would give me free oil changes & tire rotations but he didn't go into much detail about the rest Except the Price which is 25% of the claim, so if the claim is $1000.00 you would pay $250.00 but with the plan I have right now all claims are a $100.00 Deductib... read more
