I received horrible service from this company. I needed help getting my car fixed; being there customer for a year and was unable to get them on the phone for months. When I finally got ahold of them, I was treated like I was the problem. The manager gave me excuses that contradicted themselves and essentially told me I was lying. I truly regret the money I spend. I thought I was protecting myself from having to pay so much out of pocket fees for car repairs with this service, being a single mom.at the end of the day I lost.

They get you to join in for a warranty having the capability to check to see if your car was salvaged, but keeps your money as monthly payments come in and when you unknowingly report for repairs, they tell you theyre canceling your policy and will not fix your vehicle unbeknownst to me how could I have known that my car was a salvage vehicle?

Business response:

<p>PMC has reviewed this individual's file. We see that PMC was the "Seller" of an "Essential" coverage plan on 6/6/2023. Our Sales agent's notes indicate that he asked the following qualification questions:</p> <p>Are there any Check Engine lights currently on? Any leaks? Any modifications to the vehicle? Whether the vehicle has a branded or salvaged title? Whether the vehicle is used for commercial use?</p> <p>Based on the information provided to PMC's ***************** our agent qualified the vehicle for a third-party adm... read more

Business response:

<p>PMC's Management team reviewed this matter on 12/12/2023 when our customer's claim was denied.<br /> <br /> Exclusion 11 of our customer's coverage plan clearly states that: "Your contract will not cover any repairs if your vehicle has been modified or altered from your manufacturer's factory specifications. This exclusion shall apply regardless of whether the contract holder was the person that authorized or performed the modification or alteration."<br /> <br /> When PMC was reviewing its customer's transmission failure... read more

Hours on hold for service. Only call dealer/repair shop once, won't wait for mechanic to get on phone, don't call back shop or call me to let me know what's going on. Case delayed/open for weeks.

Business response:

<p>PMC has reviewed its former customer's file (#*******, which was an "Ambassador Elite" coverage plan that was purchased for a **** ***** ******* that had ******* miles on it when the coverage was purchased on 11/13/2019. On 3/9/2020, PMC approved a claim for our former customer's Water Pump and related parts. PMC paid for its portion of that repair ($1,381.80) on 3/12/2020.</p> <p>On 4/23/2021, PMC approved a second claim for our customer's Brake Switch and paid for its portion of that repair ($141.23) on 4/29/2021.</p> <... read more

Bought a 60,000 miles warranty on a new 2020 F250 thinking this would take the warranty out to 120,000 miles. Transmission went out at 115,000 miles and I was told that the warranty expired at 60k miles. Turns out I bought a warranty to cover the warranty I already had. Complete scam.

This company is a fraud and scammer. When you call customer ********************** they never pick up phone, Had two vehicles covered by them a 2013 **** F-50 and 2013 Dodge Charger.
