This company just wants your money and will find any little reason to not help you pay for repairs. I have been paying for this extended warranty for several years under a couple different vehicles and only filed one claim. My vehicle was in the shop for 2 weeks, it took a whole week for them to deny my claim and the shop couldn’t start the repairs without PMC authorization. On January 13, 2023, at 4:28 p.m. EST, our customer called PMC to report that her "Cam Phasers" had failed and that more repairs may need to be performed on our customer's 2018 Ford F-150. Upon receipt of that phone call, PMC's agent (N.F.) advised our customer to discontinue driving her vehicle. This is quite possibly the WORST company I have ever come in contact with. They are horrible dishonest people. We decided that this warranty was no longer of benefit to us, so we called in to cancel. We were told that we didn't need to cancel because if we didn't use it we would get 100% refunded. We were told this by 3 different people. Protect my Car is a fraud. I purchased their extended warranty after the factory warranty expired on my 2013BMW 328i series. Ive been paying PMC for almost 3 years. P&W said it was the timing chain. PMC asked for all the service records for my car. There said she needed at least 7 or 8 records. P&W provided all the records.
