THEY ARE TERRIBLE!!!!!! They never answer the phone. This went on for almost two weeks!!! So for almost 2 weeks my car sat at the mechanic untouched!! The online portal is down at the moment. So I called the sales line and the hold time was still a wait, but they DID ANSWER, go figure. Rep said theyve been hit with COVID again blah blah blah. My self and the repair shop had been calling for 3 weeks now trying to get a hold of customer ********************** to make a claim for my vehicle to be repaired. No one is answering the phone. 2 and 3hr hold times and no one is picking up. Tried the portal.**************** it's saying the portal is down. They never answered any of my calls, put on hold for hours for 2 weeks. Trying to file a claim. Its like theyre avoiding me to make a claim. Is this company a scam?

I have been paying this company for several months now. I just went in for my first oil change at Pep Boys and they could never get Protect my car on the telephone and the website always said is in not available at this time. I have been on hold for several hours and on several different days and no one answers or they just hang up after waiting hours at a time. I finally canceled this subscriber with my bank. We've reviewed our customer's file (#******* and we see that our customer received an oil change and tire rotation service at PepBoys on 2/18/2023. That service was paid for by our agent (A.D.) on 3/10/2023 using a VPay digital card and we show that those funds have been claimed by PepBoys. I had to get the car repaired to get my wife to work. Both the shop and I waited on the phone for over 2 hours yesterday no answer Waited on the phone today for over 2 hours no answer Sent an e-mail to the claims department, no response that it was received or that the review has started. Please be aware that this is unacceptable customer service and must change. I also have alerted the holding company, Crestview Partners, of the situation that the customers are having.<br /> <br /> <br />

I have had protect my car warranty for 2 years and now I nor the vendor can get through to an agent via phone nor online portal to authorize my oil change or repairs. Neither can the vendors. Both vendors are saying that they will not honor in the future protect my car warranty services any more after long hold, saying they closed before the hour stated, and not being able to sign in online to portal.protectmycar.com. Need to be repaid for my oil change which was 110.00 due to inflation no answer the app is down customer service done went down the hill but i see they have no problem with there automatic payments coming out from my understanding this is part of my contract<br /> <br />

I was told by Protect MyCar agent that once I receive and reviewed my contract if I was unhappy with it I could simply cancel my contract and get a full refund. I have tried calling them and was placed on hold for more than 4 hours yesterday and today I am experiencing the same problem. If I can't get any help over the phone, I would hate to find out what would happen if I needed a car repair.

Ive been trying to get an oil change that they have to approve. My repair shop has been on hold three times for over an hour with no answer. So Ive tried 15 different phone numbers for a week and never get a pick up. I dont think theyre actually there, and have no employees.
