The worst medical billing experience I’ve ever had. After the visit with my son, I started receiving confusing bills that no one could explain. Insurance was supposedly contacted, then suddenly it wasn’t. Referrals were “approved” verbally but never sent, causing delays, extra costs and unwanted bills later on. This is hands down one of the most hostile medical offices I’ve ever dealt with. The administrative staff is not only incompetent but openly rude and dismissive, especially the front-desk personnel (black and blonde ladies). Simple questions are met with attitude, calls go unanswered, and when someone finally responds, they act as if you’re an inconvenience. If zero stars were possible, Premier Medical Associates in Mount Dora, FL would still be too generous. The doctors are fine and competent, but the administrative side is a complete train wreck. Calls are ignored, appointments are mishandled, and referrals mysteriously “never sent.” On top of that, my husband was hit with random copays and fees that insurance doesn’t require, and if you don’t pay immediately, you won’t see the doctor at all. This office is straight horrible with patient relations. The doctors are great no issues there it’s the employees that work in the front desk including the manager. One of them Michelle is not helpful when it comes to patient relations. I don’t know what it is with this office but there is always a problem. Either change the staff or just shut this office down. What a waste of space and the some of the employees that work that front desk are a waste of air.
