I have given Alternaleaf multiple opportunities to resolve the same recurring issue, but unfortunately it continues to happen every single month. I have repeatedly raised these concerns through the appropriate channels, followed the required processes, and remained patient while waiting for improvements. Paid $29 for a same-day consult specifically so I could fill the script that day. I said this to the nurse during a 20-minute screening, and again to the doctor. Both confirmed I could take the script to any pharmacy. Went to the pharmacy. What Alternaleaf emailed me isn't a dispensable prescription — the pharmacy needs a scannable eScript token. Horrendous experience, especially for someone using this treatment to manage anxiety. There's no clear process, no real communication, and very little sense that anyone actually cares about the patient. It feels like a protocol-driven service rather than a healthcare one. A recent example: I booked a same-day delivery on a Friday after an appointment with their doctor, only to find out the prescription was never updated with the pharmacy. at 4:30pm that day. The Nurse was really helpful and personable. They asked a lot of questions and seemed to really care about offering a service. However unfortunately my experience with the doctor was almost the opposite. It was very bureaucratic, poorly explained, and I could feel that the doctor was growing frustrated and impatient after a few minutes, it left me feeling shamed and pretty uncomfortable. I used to use AlternaLeaf in 2024 and the service was great. My insomnia has returned so I’ve tried to rebook. I made 2 appointments yesterday. They send you a video link and tell you to join 10 mins early. So I did. Meanwhile, the doctors try to call, but they’re diverted because I’m in the online video call. The appointment gets cancelled. No one answers the phone. Online chat is a robot that offers zero help. Submitted a complaint. Received a call apologising, offered a free consult. Blah blah. Anyway, I got through to th... read more
