Johnathon visited us today to perform some semi-annual maintenance under our current contract; He was extremely professional and explained each step he was taking throughout. He even took photos to show us what needed repair and why. We are new to this area and it is so nice to find honest businesses with the old school integrity for conducting business. Big Mistake since I usually read reviews before I call a professional but I messed up and didn't check good enough especially here and YELP. One Hour Air Conditioning came to my home and overcharged me horrendously. Capacitor cost to me $379.00 while you can buy the same unit for $75.00 to $79.00. Next he charged me for a hard start unit costing $249.00 while you can buy for less then $45.00. Going online I found out most HVAC techs would recommend this hard start unit for a private home use. Patricia, sounds like you purchased an upgraded capacitor with a 5 year warranty. The hard start has a 2 year warranty. None of the companies in the area offer warranties even close. Not only that you that the technician who showed up was drug tested and background checked, arrived in a fully stocked truck in a timely fashion. Yes, we are not the cheapest company in town, but we made a decision a long time ago that we would rather apologize for price once, rather than poor quality and poor service over and over.
