This company sends out checks in the mail as a way to get somebody to sign up. They sent a check to my old address and the mail got stolen and now there is a loan out in my husband's name. Now, we have to file a police report, sign all of these affidavits and our credit score is lower. They need to change these "checks". They make it easy for people to commit fraud! We are stuck cleaning up the mess!

If you don't have great credit try credit acceptance because mariner finance is a joke. If you do deal with mariner and you get Matt on the phone just hang up because he sucks

Terrible financing company. During a PANDEMIC making collections when the entire world is struggling. Disgusting company. Steer clear. There are plenty of other financing companies to give your business to
I would never recommend this company.. not even to my worst enemy. Their loan process is fraudulent and takes advantage of people. My loan was for $5,000, but they processed this loan with the interest at 6,841. They failed to make try at clear and you go in thinking your only signing for a 5k loan and it's actually almost 7k. I'm paying the loan off in less than 9 months and I've paid a total of $6035.85. That's RIDICULOUS. If I could give zero stars, I would. Absolutely terrible company to work with. 10053 East Washington Street in Indianapolis, Indiana was atrocious. COVID had us fall behind, and we had spoken with them and they agreed to work with us. We were told if we paid a lumpsum (it totaled over $500 at one time), we would be caught up and we could continue payments as usual. We paid the payment, and the very next day they closed our account and sent it to court to sue us. We had to end up working with the lawyers they hired to sue us ... read more

NOT BAD LOAN BUT DONT BE 1 DAY LATE THEY REPORT IT RIGHT AWAY THEY DONT EVEN WAIT THE 15DAYS PAST THAT THEY ARE TO FOLLOW RATES ARE LITTLE HIGH
During a time of a national pandemic, this company should be a bit more compassionate, be fair with those who are struggling to make their payments, and for awhile suspend charging late fees. My current balance is $38.28 which is nothing more than late charges. One, they said they were going to waive the $15 late charge, well they didn't. And the other late charge they said payment had to be in on a business work day even though a grace period may sometimes end on a weekend. I completely regret taking out a loan from **********************************. From a total lack of communication to a complete disregard of decent customer service, it is plain to see this institution cares little about understanding their client's needs. They are, however, quick to get their lawyers spun up to issue court summons even when you have made arrangements to get a loan paid off. Beware. This company will not hesitate to throw you under a truck.
