RE 12 months no interest not successful. We did a 12 month no interest agreement with Regency Finance, who was bought out by Mariner, transition was during our first payment. There was allot of confusion. In the end, our bank sent automatic payments according to my discussion with Regency to arrive on time. This company takes of advantage of people in poor situations and make them worse. I had a loan for 2500 which I attempted to put in debt consolidation. This company went straight for the attorney feature knowing I couldn't and won a settlement for over 6000 including cost and interest. Don't put yourself in this situation this and other companies like them should be illegal and I am working to bring that to the attention of the government.

Unlike most people, I borrowed money from these people only AFTER reading then re-reading the terms of the contract. I made my payments at least 15 days early and at times paid twice in the same month. I paid my loan off in full last week, two years early and saved alot of money in interest. I keep getting emails saying I have missed a payment. I have never missed a payment. There have been only two times that I didn't have the exact amount so I paid what I could in which I was only $30.00 short each time, I still get a late charge even though I tried, I should have just missed the payment completely because that is what they are acting like, even though I made an effort. I have a loan with Mariner Finance. I was very religious with my payments for years. I went through some life events and did get behind, I am not denying that. I attempted to do one over the phone payment and it was scheduled to go through on my payday Friday, it didn't. I observed the individual that was taking our information type our info in a memo box in a different folder. I will never get this loan paid off!! All the money I am paying it going to the INTEREST nothing to the principle. I paid 180 and ALL OF IT went to interest!!! I even paid more than what my payment was thinking some would go to the principle and none of it did! Its crazy how do they expect anyone to pay the loan off? Guess that is what they want for people to never pay it off so they keep making money from you!! what a rip off!!
