This company provides interest free for one year financing of various items. They stipulate all payments must be on time or all interest will be charged. What they don't do is send a monthly bill. They send a bill every few months, it is up to the borrower to remember the bill is due. In my case this resulted in being charged all interest due. I am a victim of this terrible SHAM business that mails checks to tempt people into bad loans and to make it easy for Thieves to forge signatures. This mail solicitation was being sent to an old address that I have not lived at in 10 years. Well someone cashed a checked mailed by Mariner finance in my name and it hit my credit report. Luckily I get alerts to see when anything new is updated on my credit report or changes. Trying to make my payment since June and no one answers or calls me back. Did they go out of business?
I'm curious as to why I received a text and email saying my local branch in Goldsboro, NC wanted to thank me for giving information and they wanted me to come in to finish up the "loan." 1. I've never heard of this company. 2. I've never applied for any loan. 3. I haven't lived near Goldsboro in 9 years.

I got approved for a loan I didn't ask for. I don't know how they got my information or enough information to send me a check that If I sign, I agree to terms and conditions of a loan. That's gross and shouldn't be legal. I don't think it is in Washington state.

They should not be able to hold a refund check for 14 days when paying off account an account with a cashiers check from a bank. If I was 14 days late they would charge me interest, late fees and report me late to credit bureau.

If I could give them No stars I would. A repo vehical was purchased from them and they miss lead the selling of the car. It was stated that it proble would need brakes, and a tune up which is understandable thats more than likely the norm. I used mariner finance years ago and I paid off what i borrowed. Thankfully I haven't needed their loan services since then. Last year I kindly called the local office and asked the nice lady on the phone to please stop sending me their advertisements because I want to eliminate any possibility of being compromised because it happens through mail quite often.
