So took out loan with them back in August 21, first payment of $278.52 was due Oct 4th and had that paid by 8/23/21. Payments come due 4th of month and Novembers payment of $223.65 was paid 9/3/21. Decembers payment of $225 was paid on 11/3. So as you see I have been early and next payment not due till 1/4/2022. So the payment I just made of $225 went to all interest and their reasoning is because I made no October payment and interest accrued at 4 dollars and something a day. I did meet Octobers payment! Multiple times they sent my payment back. Sent a payment directly from my bank to them. Money was deducted from my bank account but never credit to my account. They made me pay cash never was credited money back to my bank account. I am at over a $500 loss they are a very horrible finance company
Mariner Financial received a payoff for a totaled car prior to it going 30 days they then delayed the payoff and made it late. I paid for gap insurance on the loan yet made me pay extra because their gap insurance didn't do what it was supposed to do and pay off the loan. I was advised by Cory the manager it would be paid off. This to me is a bad business practice.

About 8 months ago I received a message in *********** that I had a pre-approved credit offer with Mariner Finance. Long story short I was denied the loan after I accepted the pre-approved offer. Fast forward to October 2021 and the same thing occurred but with an ever higher credit score of 660! This is the second time they enticed me with a pre-approved offer only to deny it when I "accepted" the offer. If I could I would give them 0 (zero) stars. During Covid 19 hard times they went and served me with papers. Yes I am behind, but who isn't during these hard times in this world. Worst of the WORST 33% interest rate I consolidated all my debt including a debt I had with Mariner Finance. The payment made to them overpaid my debt by $220+ and Mariner won't give me my money back they were overpaid!!! It has been over a month now.

I receive a call from them and returned the call, not only did the lady not identify who she was or the company she was extremely rude. I did not give her information, requesting her information first. I had to research to find out who it was. I have no business with them. If they allow employees to be that rude with non customers, how are they with their clients.

Absolutely the worst company I have every had to work with. I bought furniture from a locally owned store who contracts through Mariner for financing. Supposed to be 0% interested for 24 months. I made my monthly payment in the amount required and in the timeframe required. From Month 1 my account reflected interest accruing.
