These people are horrible. I applied loan last month, was already approved. They got my documents including loan offer. they already made a hard credit and after couple of days rejected my loan. Please stay away from these thieves!!!!! They will ruin your credit score!!!! Go somewhere else!

Bad customer service, rude, unorganized, I have had loans with that office since 2007, I needed another one to pay to get to an unexpected funeral and was denied, I'm almost paid off and I think they did me a favor so I don't have to deal with them ever again.

Mariner Finance is a scam. I received a letter in the mail on June 11 welcoming me to financial institution. I did not apply for a loan through them at all. I emailed their customer service and they said that the loan was initiated through Credit Karma and to take it up with them. I emailed Credit Karma and they said that they do not initiate loans on behalf of their customers. Mariner Finance is the opposite of good customer service. I walked into a location a few days ago at about 5:15 pm. That location didn't close until 5:30 pm. Right when I walked in, an employee simply glared at me and then continued with her conversation with another customer. Moments later, that employee walked over to me and said "we're closed". I should of read reviews before getting a loan with this company. With this loan company I have been making payments but not always on the exact date. Never I have been 30 days pass due. I had set a payment up for June 6 2019 cause of some work issues. Well the manager called me and said that is unacceptable and that he wasn't going to accept the payment. Only gave a one star because i couldn't give a zero . Awful to deal with Terrible business they make it impossible to pay back loan interest rate is impossible to pay down Very rude employees they harassed me constantly. I paid for two years and was only two hundred lower then when I started. I missed one payment and they filed a lawsuit

I would give them a zero if I could. Not long after taking out my loan, I switched bank accounts. I updated the account information online for my auto-pay. A few days after my payment was due, I get a call stating it was returned? So I call my bank to see what happened, because I have funds available, and they say they never even had an attempted debit from Mariner Finance. They are a predatory lending company who prey on the less credit-worthy. They are not flexible, and I was sent for judgement once because of no fault of my own; a mailed payment was lost and I didn't know about it but I had to jump through every hoop to stop it. Why they insisted upon having a mailed payment to the local office instead of electronic transfer to corporate I still don't understand. Anyway, avoid them if you possibly can, and pay them off early and ASAP if you cannot.
