VCA killed my dog. They denied us care, overcharged us for every single procedure, continually put my dog under anesthesia, would leave him dirty after every procedure, and denied us life-saving cancer treatments for unfounded and unproven reasons. DO NOT. UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Take your precious, beloved pets to VCA. They do not care about your animals. This clinic has extremely poor customer service; they are rude, unprofessional, and encourage unnecessary procedures, without communicating the cost. Never going back.

Horrible staff made my dog wait 5 hrs with a bleeding open wound to make sure they could charge after hr fees they staff suck have more want to stare at there phones than help animals because of your outrageous staff I wasn't able to afford the care my dog need your hospitals are a good scam and that's it I will never bring my dog there again and will be writing these everyday until I die or you close

Disorganized admittance and triage unnecessarily wasting time and keeping animals in discomfort.

THEY DONT CARE ANOUT YOUR PET. It is all about the money. They have so many policies it makes it difficult to do anything. Please find another vet and save yourself the hassle of a poorly run company.

Dr. Madge called me to discuss the treatment options for our suddenly very ill dog. After spending many hours in their ER waiting room I can attest to how busy this hospital is. Despite that, Dr. Madge spent 1/2 hour on the phone with me, explaining what was wrong and treatment options. Although this man has done this hundreds or thousands of times, he was unbelievably gentle, patient and compassionate **** me. This is for VCA in Plugerville and Austin, Texas. I had taken my dog to a VCA hospital for years. When she was in a possible emergency, they had her go to another VCA hospital with a vet that is not able to treat those issues. She died waiting on a second appointment, overnight. I've had weeks to read about all the treatments my dog might have had, if anyone at VCA had been honest that they should have suggested an emergency vet, rather than making her wait. I've been going to my now-former vet clinic for over 15 years. Until recently, I loved their doctors, vet techs and staff. Once my main vet dr left this facility, I've noticed service lacking. My most recent visit (6/29) was for a dental cleaning. Because my male tabby stresses easily, they recommended I sprinkle one Gabapentin capsule onto some food, two hours before he needed to be at the vet. Why are the prices continually increasing? At our last visit we were shocked at the bill. How can we request the company be more transparent with prices? It feels like pet owners are being extorted since VCA has bought out all the local vets and has a hold on the market. Where else am I supposed to go to take care of my pet?
