Absolutely DO NOT Take your fur baby to VCA. My dog ate something and he tried to vomit it up all day. He was severely dehydrated when I got home from work. I took him at 5 clearly n distress, he wasn't taken back until 6:30 and an IV to get him hydrated wasn't placed until 10. It was too late. The are clearly about money. I'll never set foot in that door again. Absolutely incompetent!!!!

Do not take your animals to VCA, 5/4/22 took my 8 month old puppy in, he ate something and couldn't poop, he was dying. 1,600 for x ray, IV, and blood work. They tried to scare me into a 5000 surgery he didn't need. Tried to convince me to put my puppy to sleep, saying if I didn't do the surgery he only had 2-3% chance of living. They lied to me, and my dog almost died because of their map practice. Took my puppy to a different source outside of the desert 5/6/22. For $400 they did x rays, bloodwork, b 12 medicine, antibiot... read more

INSENSITIVE, DISORGANIZED AND UNPROFESSIONAL Unfortunately I had to abbreviate here due to character limitations: On Friday April 15th our 18-year-old dog began to exhibit signs of distress. We called VCA Desert where our little girl had been a patient for 2 years since we moved to the area. We were told that our regular vet, Dr Philip Caldwell, was busy in surgery & would be unable to see or speak with us, but to bring our Shayna in and she would be seen by "whichever vet is available." We raced over to the hospital &... read more

(my review of VCA Desert Palm Springs cont'd) "PLEASE - OUR DOG IS SUFFERING! PLEASE SEND SOMEONE IN TO HELP US!" Without even looking up, she repeated that someone would be with us in just a few minutes. Didn't bother to check. I guess she was too busy taking payments.20 minutes passed. 20 minutes of sheer **** - our Shayna was suffering so. The room was unbearably hot. No one had the courtesy to come in to see how she was - how we were. No one had the courtesy to give us an accurate idea how long we would have to wai... read more

We have just had a terrible experience with VCA Century. We have been clients there for our pets for the last 5 years and had no issues. However, when our dog developed a terrible sore in her mouth we called the office and were told that they could not see her but that we should take her to emergency. We received a DX of Oral Melanoma and were told to follow up with Dr. Natito regarding next steps. We called the office on Monday morning to make sure office had received the information from the pet hospital. Office confirmed ... read more

The suffering of animals seems to be the mission of VCA in Corpus Christi. Don't waste your time. Inefficiency at another level. Lazy staff. Their lack of organization caused my dog some very bad days because he didn't have his medicine. When I talked to the manager she laughed. Laughing at an elderly dogs pain...wow. Never again.
Business response:
Josh, we are taken aback by what you've shared. We want the best for all our patients and would never want you to feel like your concerns were not taken seriously by our team. Please contact us at *******************@vca.com to discuss this matter further. Thank you.
Awful Service. I brought my dog in week before a trip out of the country to have her checked for allergies. I mentioned to the vet that she had an accident in the house and that was unusual for her. Her vet requested a urine sample that I dropped off on the following Tuesday. I was told the results would be available 24 hours later. I called on Friday to get the results because no one had contacted me. I was told the there was no UTI but there was glucose found and that could be a sign of diabetes. I explained that I am leav... read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE! It's taken me a couple months to finally write a review due to grieving over the loss of my fur baby but I wish I could leave 0 stars. VCA mixed up my dog's ashes with someone else's cats ashes named "Queso". I returned home from picking up my dogs ashes and opened the box only to see that it was someone else's pet with a toe tag listing the owner as Bryan L***** for a feline named "Queso". I immediately called VCA and spoke with the manager and it appeared that it was just a simple box mix up.. NO... read more

I've taken my dogs to Dr Beck in San Leandro for 8 years until she left. I was getting their medication sent to Costco as they don't carry his seizure medication. Now they tell me they no longer will call in RX's as they are too busy! I'm expected to drive to San Leandro and then to Danville to hand deliver RX. Totally unacceptable I will be looking for a new Veterinarian office.
Business response:
Sandee, we always strive to be as helpful as possible and it's disappointing to know we haven't met your expectations. Please know that we care a great deal about the well-being of your dogs and we would like to address your concerns, so we ask that you send us an email at ********************@vca.com. Thank you.
