One star is generous. Many years ago this was a decent Vet Hospital with caring vets and caring staff. But now they have become corporate and absolutely place money as a priority over pet care and especially over caring about customers. The head vet, Dr. Baker, told me I could bring both of our cats in for him to examine. But their front office was rude and argumentative and refused to allow both cats to be seen with the excuse their records didn't say that. I was trying to figure out why a veterinarian facility that suppose... read more

My cat has small cell lymphoma. They are not upfront about what they are charging you. If you go to other Vet's they go over the bill before service. My cat was not even with the Veterinarian and they charged 50 dollars for an oncology check in and almost $300 for blood work for a less than 15 min of seeing my cat. Almost $400 for just a 2 month check in. No one has money for this every 2 months plus her medication on top of this. I checked her regular cat doctor's invoice for blood work and it was like $75. They are chargin... read more

My pet is sick and I am trying to find out what is wrong with him. I am very worried and very concerned about him. I don't need some cold-hearted, nasty vet talking down to me like I am some child being scolded for asking questions about my sick pet. This vet is rude, nasty, uncaring, disrespectful, and downright appalling. I hope you get fired because this is not the right job for your demeanor. I think you need to apply for a prison guard instead of being a vet. You have just costed this company a customer. I will take my ... read more

This is the most unprofessional, uncaring, unsympathetic business I have been to. I am from a smaller town (moved here recently) and I was appalled on how they treated me. I will continue to tell as many people as I can NOT to go here. My cat passed away as we handed her over and David didn't care. I was balling (she was attacked by a dog). I was in such a rush to get her there (after hours) that I forgot my wallet. (I don't even think my shoes were matching). They refused to assist her because I didn't have my wallet and th... read more

Was referred to VCA oncologist specialist in Fountain Valley, by VCA primary vet and spent $2000 to verify if my dog's tumor was cancerous, was told it was a benign tumor and surgery to remove it would be $11,XXX-XX,000. Could obviously not afford that so I found a very good vet in LA charged me $2,500 to remove it and test it. He found the tumor was a sarcoma stage 2. How the **** does this facility dare call themselves specialists and not found this for $$2000!!! So disappointed and wish I had the means to sue them. PLEASE... read more

Business response:

Business response:

I received horrible service from Dr.******** today at the VCA Piedmont Animal Hospital. Total lack of caring and concern. I have been going there for two years and I am tired of having to go back for the same thing over and over again and being charged for it. I will never take my animals back there. My biggest concern without going into all the details is that she doesn't look at the animals chart so she doesn't have a clue what was done on a previous visit or what she prescribed. Imagine if your Doctor prescribed medicatio... read more

On June 28, 2021 I phoned VCA Animal Hospital in Plantation FL interested in getting a quote for boarding my dog for an upcoming trip an entire month away, Aug 1 - Aug 7, 2021. | was told that they are closed on Sundays so I would have to board him from July 31st until August 9th. I agreed. They pulled up his file and asked me pertinent questions and I answered all accordingly. They gave me a quote. One week before my trip I phoned to confirm my dog's reservation and was given the QUOTE. They called me twice the day before, ... read more

My cat was seen here on July 28th as an ER follow up from the 25th. The ER's recommendations were not followed, and my cat was misdiagnosed and treated for an illness he did not have, which was unconfirmed by testing. No tests were performed. He was treated for Toxoplasmosis when in fact he had FIP (diagnosed by a different vet, one week later.) This is a fatal feline illness with no medically-approved cure. The veterinarian made a guess at an incorrect diagnosis and charged me for treatment of same.

Business response:
