Poor care. No doctor on duty. Assistant is whom treats your dog when doctor isn't there. The day my pet couldn't breath being treated for cancer I ask to speak with Assistant which was running late all they said they could do with no doctor there was send me to a referral line .Sad to say my bulldog didn't make it. VCA buys up clinics and is only in animal hospital for Financial gain.Investment. Love your animal and take to a personal vet that knows you and your pet. Look up VCA see for yourself.
Listen, this is by far the worst facility ever. My animals have only been here twice. Upon the first visit I provided medical records. When I went to schedule the second visit, which was two days ago, I was told that medical records were lost. I then spoke to a Katrina, who is office manager, and she apologize for the inconvenience. Last Saturday night we went to a VCA which bills itself as a 24 hour emergency vet hospital. Our dog had ingested something and need to be seen right away. The person at the desk told us it was a 5-6 hour wait (our dog could have been dead by then) her response was I don't care it is still a 5-6 hour wait. How utterly unforgiveable. No compassion *** the animal or humans involved.

May 29th 2021 I was referred to VCA on Sepulveda Blvd by a vet because my 1 year old kitten had a blocked urethra. When we arrived at VCA our cat was taken inside, and we were instructed to wait in our car and that we could only talk to the vet named Pickering by phone, but first I had to agree to pay more than five thousand dollars worth of care- up front. We took our 12 year old dog here were charged for several things that were done prior to getting our authorization did nothing to help our pet besides exams blood pressures et cetera sent her home without even having the wound cleaned or getting pain medication. We tried to contact the office manager only to be hung up on several times. Horrible experience bringing my puppy to this hospital. Offered no financial assistance and wanted a lot of money upfront before starting treatment and my puppy was very sick. Before I even left I had already racked up over a 1k dollars. I agreed that my puppy can stay for 48hr. After 24hrs they said puppy was improving and things looked good. After the 48hrs were up they demanded another 48hrs as he was not well and another 4K dollars after already being charged over 3k. They would not release the puppy when we said we coul... read more

Dear VCA Animal Hospitals, I am writing you with extreme disappointment with my experience at your Deltona, Florida facility. I have used this animal hospital for 10 years often driven up from Austin or even on visit back from California. Must have had a change in management recently. They are god awful now I have always praised them for being good but last recent interactions we terrible. They are greed driven now and no longer have the best interest of the pets but simply there bottom line. I would not recommend this animal clinic and would recommend looking for anywhere else. Very disappointed lately with VCA. Unless it's an emergency, the Santa Monica branch and the West LA branch won't even talk to you on the phone, without a seven minute hold time. I finally got an appointment at VCA SM, the earliest they could take me was in three weeks, and I had to go online to my account to find out that it's not even for my cat's regular vet.
