I would never take a pet there again as long as I live! They failed to provide the basic standard of care for my dog which resulted in lost income for me while I sought out treatment for her, thousands of dollars in vet bills and sacrificed her quality of life! Based on their negligence I may end up with far less time with her than I would have had, had they just done their job!

I feel compelled to leave a review any where I have an opportunity to do so. I had been to this location one other time prior to today. I was greeted with a 'new' client feel although they had my dog's records on file. My dog experienced a stroke today because it is similar to that of a human being. The vet could not definitively say one way or the other if my dog had a stroke. Okay fine. What do they recommend? Diagnostic testing $$$$$$$$$. I trusted my pets life for 12 years w this company They switched to VCA service went completely downhill now all they care about is money The staff is catty and they spread peoples personal business around to other staff and customers. And some of them are managers. Today ends my relationship with VCA in East Meadow, NY. I have two dogs, both 2 years of age. As of yesterday I only have one left. My two year old died due to the negligence of VCA Hospital in Westbury and apathy of VCA East Meadow. The doctors I have dealt with have demonstrated an incompetence, laziness and indifference I would not have thought possible in people who chose a career in veterinary medicine. VCA cares more about their profits than the care a pet receives. We've been lucky have a good vet at VCA but if she was ever to leave we definitely would go to another vet. VCA charges are higher than other area vets since we've use others for emergencies and compared cost difference for same exact type of tests and procedures.

I had a negative experience with this clinic, and I want to share my conclusions about their service First of all, this clinic: 1-not for poor people 2-not for owners of several animals, for example, if you need to treat several cats or dogs at once, be ready to leave this clinic, devastated in terms of money. 3- Be prepared for the fact that doctors and clinic staff will not even make an extra move for your pet, before you pay the entire payment in advance. I would like to report an offensive and discriminatory incident that occurred on February 2, 2021. I called VCA Animal Hospital - Central Expressway in Dallas, Texas to set up an appointment for my dog. He has been a Care Club Member since he was a puppy and VCA has been our primary hospital for two years. These people have a lot to learn about customer service. I called to cancel my care club and said this upfront to the agent. When she quoted the balance until term renewal, including services I wasn't planning on using, I pushed back. She chastised me for not telling her I wanted to close my account. This about sums up why I'm done with these people. They don't listen. They don't care. They just want your money.
