I don't know if I can help others to don't have the same experience I had last Saturday, but this place is ready to *** you, taking advantage of your feelings for your pets I am not the only one in this situation, they gave you a wrong diagnosis if you do not agree and you said I want to take my pet with me they start to scream and said will die if you take home, but they were said is possible will die during the surgery. I called ahead and was told to bring Pepper down ( they've been her provider for 8 year's) and call them from the parking lot and they would come outside, get her, take her inside, give her her CYTOPOINT shot, and return her back to me. If I could give zero stars I would. The amount of incompetence that this organization has is astounding. They fail to fill prescription orders that they prescribe, and consistently do not read the patients files to have an understanding of the care that is needed to be given. 10/10 Is a bad experience, the only reason i attempt to continue is due to my cats dietary needs for a prescription diet. Most times I am concerned for the safety and well being of my cat in their care.

I am filing a complaint against VCA Bay Cities Marina Del Rey for endangering the life of a pet. The vet I had been seeing for left the office in mid-June 2020; I received a notice via email. I have 3 cats, two have thyroid conditions and one has cancer on top of it. They are on a lot of meds. BEWARE!! TOTAL SCAM!! I printed a coupon for a free first exam from their website and called to make an appointment. I notified them that I had downloaded the coupon from their website that specifically listed their location (at this time, June,2020, available at https://vcahospitals.com/free-pet-exam). They said that they would not honor the "free" visit but would discount the first visit to $25. I agreed to pay the $25. We had decided a week ago that it was time to put our 17 yr old golden retriever down as she has tumors and lumps all over her body. Shes blind and deaf and cant even walk up our set of stairs outside. So decided for her better quality of life if we said goodbye. We booked the appointment and went to go in and get it all done. VCA ASG in Los Angeles--no accountability, no compassion, no shame. Terribly misdiagnosed my dog's cancer, which led to his premature death. Refused even a partial refund, much less an acknowledgement or apology. (He was properly diagnosed when I got a second opinion elsewhere.)

We took our cat to VCA Animal Ark 3235 N Kedzie Ave, Chicago, IL XXXXX to have some bad teeth removed he was put under anesthesia for it and during the procedure (I found this on google, based off his instant symptoms) they damaged his seventh nerve, leaving him with partial facial paralysis & two different pupil sizes, a head tilt, & just recently he lost the use of his tongue and has not been able to eat or drink on his own so we have been syring feeding him.
