Very deceptive business practice I sent my son in for $209 brake pad job and was presented with $475 bill when repair was complete. The rear break pads were replaced in my Subaru 1 month ago and was told at that time the front brake pads would need to be replaced. pep boys also replaced the rotors which is why they charged $266 more than the original quote. I brought my car in on I want to say Thursday (2/6/2020) for an oil change at the Charlotte, NC location (arbor creek). I drove up from FL so decided to get an oil change before I left Monday evening. On my drive back down I started smelling smoke so pulled off on the side of the highway and my car just started smoking. Do not go here! Read the reviews of people who made appointments only to have them cancelled because of poor business organization and management. No concern that a customer wasted a whole day waiting for work that never got done; no offers to have a discount applied for the inconvenience. Nothing. When I picked up my keys to take the car somewhere else I didn't even get a proper apology. This is the worst car repair and parts place in the West of Pittsburgh. the worse place to take your car I almost got ripped of wow well I decided to get a second opinion peb boy tried to charge me 800.00 to replace rear struts. and I went to a local Mechanic and I told him what happen he just laughed and he said don't worry just he will order the struts for me the coast for the strut will 125.00 and 90.00 dollars for labor so total coast 215.00 there address is 9208 us hwy 19 new port richey fl 34668 managers name Patrick N***** Thank You JR

I wanted to inform you of my experience at Store # 53, 137 S Broad St Woodbury NJ. I was looking for a headlight for my 2013 Chevy Equinox, and went on-line to find and purchase 2 bulbs, I was offered installation for $20.00 additional, but declined since I figured I’d pay for installation when I picked up the bulbs. I went to the location off 128th st in Everett, Wa. Gary the manager is a rude man who tells and talks to you as of he knows everything and even area manager said he was wrong about stuff he was telling me. They could not product the original aligment specs done on vehicle told was in a box upstairs and he would email me them and 2 weeks later nothing... Me and my husband dropped off our car off Saturday morning, we did not receive any phone calls regarding the car by 5 o’clock. My husband calls around 5 and they told him it would be done in an hour or two. We wait till 7 to drive over to pep boys. My husband goes into the store speaks with the manager (meanwhile we seen his car still up on the lift) and asks about his car. The manager says the car is not ready. I had to do inflate tire in Pleasant Hill, CA pep boys. Other like costco, big o tires, they fix this immediately and on our way as this is emergency issue. For this emergency, they made me come back & hold my car from 3pm to 6.20pm. This is the 2nd review I'm filling against this location. High point is Steve and his manager were talking like thugs. I'm a female rideshare driver of over two years and I rely on my truck for my primary source of income. I get my regular maintenance; oil changes, tire balancing/rotations, inspections ect - LIKE CLOCK WORK.
