These folks are a bunch of scammers. They did my sons hearing test in the hospital the day after he was born in March. Sent me a bill in JUNE without submitting to insurance. Called them back to tell them I had insurance which they already knew about, but told them the information again anyway so they could submit my sons claim. Finally got Kyle to tell me they would remove the charges from my account on Sept 4th, and then last week they sent another bill. My twins were born on 6/23, and were in the NICU until 7/6 and 7/9. As of 7/2, Pediatrix’s contract with my insurance company terminated, making them an out-of-network, nonparticipating provider with my insurance. I spoke with a woman in customer service for over an hour this week who told me that I was responsible for the charges, and it was due to be paid in full in by the due date on the bill, unless I set up a payment plan (however they do not discount anything if it’s on a payment plan 🙄). Billing practices are absolutely absurd. They did not send a bill or statement until NINE months after my son's NICU stay. The bill sent was not accurate, they had not ven attempted to bill my insurance company (all other Bill's from this hospital were taken care of promptly). I spent hours on the phone trying to untangle the mess they made. When they FINALLY got the claim to my insurance company 3 months later, it was too late. Read the reviews!!!!! They can't get much worse then to lie and cheat everyone
received a 500.00 bill for and I quote "attendance at birth" my husband also attended the birth should he get 500.00? and when I called they couldn't explain what the bill was for. This place needs to be put out of business they already have lawsuits pending. These people should be ashamed to take advantage of mothers this way!
After lengthy calls, everything has been set. I wish I didn't have to do this.
These people steal your money!! I was recommended to Pediatrix Medical group by my OBGYN after a higher than normal NT scan. My OB said you should call them right away because they book up fast. So I called them right away, and they got me in the next week. Took 3 hours of my day only for the doctor to tell me (after all the tests were taken) that I was too early in my pregnancy to have any definitive results so I should come back in 4 weeks when I was far enough along in my pregnancy to have clear results.
