My healthy newborn was seen twice by the pediatric hospitalist associated with this group. We did not request him- he was just the person who was (I thought) was employed by the hospital. He was a conscientious, friendly and a wonderful pediatrician. My insurance company paid the agreed amount and I was left with less than $100. Imagine my surprise when I received a bill for $900!!!! If I could give a negative review I would. My insurance company has called them, I have called them, my insurance company has 3 way called them with me and still this bill I have gotten has yet to be resolved. All over 107.00 that the EOB explained was a write off per the doctor contract!! Quit calling me saying I owe this money when I don't.. How many times does and insurance company need to tell you the patient doesn't owe it and quit harassing me!!!
If I could give a negative rating, I would. This is the worst company I've ever dealt with. They did the mandatory newborn hearing screening, and billed my insurance, was paid the allowed amount, and then still billed me for over $1400....for a 2 second hearing test. I keep getting threatening letters from them, but they never answer when I call back. I've been leaving voicemails for weeks to no avail. Looks like I'll be considering legal action soon.
