Billed us an outrageous amount for one doctor in our NICU care, while all other doctors during our stay accepted our insurance. We challenged, and they denied our challenge. Then we get a letter on tax day the following year (9 months later) that "The insurance carrier reprocessed our claim and there is no patient responsibility." So now I have to file a Mistaken Distribution form with my HSA company.
I feel I was scammed and harassed from this company. I have contacted the hospital where my son was born and ask them for a list of the service my son received and check whether you are on the list. Billing is very incompetent. One person tells me one thing on the phone and the other tells me something completely different. They obviously do not have phone records because they have no idea what I tslked about with previous representatives.They also do not listen ( minus one person that did) to what you have to say. I do not trust this company at all. Stay away if you can!
I received a bill from collections in December after not even knowing that I was billed! It was sent to an old address without them notifying me AND they had my phone number! My insurance company doesn’t even have a claim for them! Still has t been resolved. My baby will be a year old in July!
Very incompetent. First time I heard from them was a year after my child was born. They do not put contact information such as a phone number on the bill, so you are forced to search for them online. After finally getting a hold of them, they cant find me or my child in their system. They cant even locate the account number on the bill. After being put on hold multiple times, they decide to simply hang up and end the phone call instead of trying to figure out why I got a bill.

Pediatrix Medical Group is extremely unprofessional and does not operate like a legitimate business. This corporation never sent me a bill, even after I asked them to. They sent me directly to collections. Now collections keeps on sending me multiple bills one after another. Shame on you Pediatrix Medical group.
I just received a $356 bill, my insurance showed absolutely no claim from them!!! 🤬😡
Pediatrix Medical Groups are predators that overbill to fatten their bottom line. They are relentless and represent the underbelly of the medical industry.
