this company has no transparency what so ever they just try to sell you things you don't need and do not explain what charges are for they also had me sign a so called retirement plan which was costing me more a month than what i would ever get back in interest!!!! they set you up with a specialist which never answers and never calls back i was on hold for over an hour just to speak to a real person at last i was charged a set up fee for my retirement services but only until i closed the account not at the beginning i will n... read more

We filed payroll the same day we always do and received confirmation that it was received. Guess what? Nobody got paid today. We've been contacting every Paychex employee we have an email address for since 8:30am, we've called, we've Instagram messaged, and we keep being told someone will talk to us. Guess what? Nobody has reached out, and still no money has hit anyone's accounts. It is abusive to not pay people on their payday when all of the proper procedures were followed.

Horrific customer service. Payroll is consistently incorrect and no one responds in a reasonable timeframe. The supervisor for our account has never responded to me and her voicemail is always full. I spend hours on hold to get things straightened out because my specialist won’t respond and always enters things incorrectly. Turnover must be very high. I get a new specialist every few months. Avoid this company!!

Where do I START? Customer Service is basically non existent. Accountability does not exist, but excuses do. The voice prompt, might as well just hang up. How embarrassing for them, that I had to go to the extreme to go on LinkenIn to find a manager or director that would be able to help. Have been waiting for 9 days for a deposited check for my employee. 3 emails, 2 voice mails, 2 additional emails to managers, not one call back. We've been a customer of Paychex for over 20 years and the service has become so bad that we were forced to find another provider. They switch our payroll contact almost on a weekly basis and despite the length of time that we've been a customer they continually mange to amaze me with their incompetence. The person we were assigned doesn't answer her phone or e-mails so we are forced to call in payroll. We started with Paychex Flex in April 2020 when our non-profit organization grew too large to use paper time cards and manually process payroll. We were promised great things and had very high hopes. There were CONSTANT issues. We had to contact customer service nearly every day. There is a different department for every little part of the system – one for payroll, one for time and attendance, one for this, one for that – and they all have extremely high turnover. Sent an email at 7:40 this am that they deleted all my employees sick leave. 4 hours later my so called rep send the typical "You need to contact another Department" The option she gave me was incorrect. Now on hold for 26 minutes? Don't bother to contact the managers Jason, Danielle or Steven. They are just as worthless! This is the worst payroll company to work with. No one know how to do anything and shoved department to department.

If I could put -5, I would. This company has totally messed up my 3rd quarter payroll. I am getting notices from state and IRS. I have been trying to reach a person since Sept,2021. It is now 12-30-21. I have emailed and called my acct. spec. and 2 supervisors daily the entire month of DEC. No one will return a phone all or contact me thru my emails. They reported my 3rd quarter and then reversed some of my payroll. This company is completely incompetent.
