They should get less than one star! We have had the most horrible customer service experience with Paychex. First, they changed our account rep and didn't tell us. The new account rep didn't process our payroll at all. In looking for our pay, we found out we had a new rep and left her a voicemail and emailed her. She did not respond. We finally were paid after contacting several people at Paychex. Next, we tried to change our bank account. If I could give a "zero stars", I would. Absolutely the worst FSA/HRA company EVER. They have zero idea how to add and subtract or figure out what is one year or the next. Additionally, they require a copy of EVERY single charge made to the card even it is to the same physician you've been to 100 times over. Absolutely ridiculous process and company in every way. If you have a choice - DO NOT USE THEM!!!
NO-ONE CARES AT PAYCHEX ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS LOOK ELSEWHERE! Lots of little mistakes and not very competent. Really hit or miss almost every payroll. IF YOU DO HAVE A PROBLEM GOODLUCK GETTING A RESPONSE IN A TIMELY manner. I would give them 0 stars if that was an option. We used to use Paychex in the past and had nothing, but issues so went to a new payroll company, but in the past year discovered that during our time with Paychex not only did they skip filing state returns for our company and employees, but they also never paid the amounts due for the returns filed. Now the government is trying to come after us for taxes dues with penalties and interest on top of what wasn't paid and when we have contacted Paychex to get them to resolve they ... read more
Agree with the below- I would leave 0 stars if I could. Customer service is horrendous. I was on the phone with Jerica and asked to speak with a supervisor. She instead hung up on me. She was rude, arrogant, and privileged on the phone, knowing full-well she can get away with acting childish. Hope someone puts this can't say in her place
If i could give then a 0 star i would!! We put our trust into Paychex to handle our payroll needs. However, they have COMPLETELY failed. We are a small business and they have taken money from us that they were NOT authorized to do so after trying for months to get them to close out account. They have not reported or sent our reemployment taxes to the DOR. Nor have they reported any wage reports. Terrible Customer Service 401k Balanced Disappeared One morning I woke up to find my entire 401k Balance listed on the Paychex portal gone; zeroed out. Days before the balance was approx. $115,000. Would give 0 stars if I could. Terrible customer service. Our payroll has been a nightmare for the last 6/8 months. I've got employees being paid overtime (at time and a half) instead of PTO, IRA checks being calculated incorrectly, payroll not being released for processing and employees bring paid twice in the same pay period. Been a customer for over 10 years and as of December 2021 my payroll specialist retired and ever since I have had more than 3 other specialist assigned to us and only ever spoke to one all the others were never in the office or never returned our calls. My payroll literally take 7 minutes to call in and I have been on hold today from 10:15am-10:52 only to have my call answered and then got hung up on.
