Worst hospital I ever been in. I truly hate this place
I went to the Parkland ER on December 11th...barely conscious with chest pain and shortness of breath. The ER doctor and NP yelled at me for being there and not taking my "muscle pains" to my primary care doctor. 4 hours later I'm being rushed by ambulance to a real hospital that saved my life, where I had emergency heart surgery! And Parkland will not acknowledge that they messed up. Dr. Gossman said it was all about perception! Don't go to this ER unless you have no other option.
RecommendedMy son was at the ER 1-10-21. And please acknowledge and thank a nurse he had Ms Harlie Doe. Her kindness and compassion will forever be imprinted in our hearts. Thank you Ms. Doe your a fantastic nurse !!!!
My grandfather was admitted three times (once by an ambulance) within 24 hours for the same medical problem and they had to send him to CMC to resolve what was concluded to be a moderate issue. Due to the fact they did not have a qualified doctor to cauterize a blood vessel. Nothing severe. One of the most asinine experiences I have ever been involved in. I am not sure how they can even consider themselves a hospital. One of the nurses even asked us if we personally knew an EMT who could see him/treat him at home.

I have been to Parkland several times and have always received quality care. Most recently I went to the ER having no idea what was wrong, but knew something was seriously wrong. The doctors and nurses worked quickly to determine the problem and had me well enough to come home after a few days. The costs are outrageous, but that seems to be all hospitals. The billing department isn't great. I recommend them solely on the care that has been provided to me by the doctors, nurses and staff.

I went today because I woke up w horrible chest pain. I tested positive for covid 15 days ago. Chest pain is the only symptom I still have. They told me I shouldn’t have come in and that I “looked” fine before even treating me. They threw my paperwork on my bed and told me my chest cavity is swollen from coughing even tho I NEVER had a cough. And told me to leave the way I came in. I will never ever go back. Def don’t go if u have any covid issues. They treat u like u are not human.

I saw parkland last Wensday. I was discharged after being treated. I called yesterday asking for a note for work saying I'm fine to go back to work After being hung up on 2 times the 3rd I was told it was achievable. And they will call me back. i have given them my information and who i was seen by and what reason.
