This small, somewhat eccentric café is a local favorite. The décor is certainly part of the café's charm- bright primary colors abound, the thrift store furniture is mismatched; mannequins, dolls and other toys decorate the window sills, walls and even the ceiling. But it's the food that keeps the locals coming back. It's a terrific blend of traditional home cooking and lighter vegetarian fare. The French toast (served all day) is one of the city's treasures.

I love the atmosphere of the restaurant, definitely my type of weird/oddballness! Food was good- sooooo much to choose from. Some of the servers could have better manners but that may be how some of their personalities are. Otherwise, wonderful experience. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely stop by!
My Monte Cristo was delicious and always love the decor!
We had a great time here eating our late dinner, everyone was very polite and welcoming we had lots of fun stuff to look at brought back many childhood memories love this place.
The owner was downright unpleasant, if not rude, which probably explains why the staff seemed really unhappy working there. What a pity, because everything you read/hear about the decor and food is true.
Okay, all my friends and folks whom I don't know. Go to the Papermoon Diner in Baltimore. Besides the beautiful, whimsical, downright hilarious, at times, decor, the food is amazing. I had the artichoke hearts and clam omelette -to die for. So good.
Aside from the awesome atmosphere, the food was amazing as always. Papermoon has a wonderful selection for vegetarians such as myself as well. No need to order nothing but sides for us! Plenty of options for fulfilling meals! Hella portebella is sooooo good!
Papemoon was great!!!!!!!!!! The food was awesome and the ambiance was wacky and fun.
Food was excellent as usual, but the attitudes of the servers was not very good. No smiles, no good morning, no hi how are you. It took forever to get my server back to get another cup of coffee and then had to ask for more cream instead of it being brought when refilled. Plus, the server acted as if it was a pain to get. Basic server skills lacking.
First time here and it's fantastic!!! Had spring eggs for breakfast. Wow! So tasty and a tasty mix of eggs, spinach, prosciutto, potatoe pancake and delicious hollandaise sauce. Will definitely be back with friends.
