This small, somewhat eccentric café is a local favorite. The décor is certainly part of the café's charm- bright primary colors abound, the thrift store furniture is mismatched; mannequins, dolls and other toys decorate the window sills, walls and even the ceiling. But it's the food that keeps the locals coming back. It's a terrific blend of traditional home cooking and lighter vegetarian fare. The French toast (served all day) is one of the city's treasures.

I love the look and feel of this colorful, camp place. I always ask to go when I visit family on Baltimore and it never disappoints for comfort food. Service is also friendly.
The good was ok my meatloaf was dry felt like leftovers . The experience was like a normal Resturant but everyone speaks highly Felt like it was missing the mom and pop diner experience from the staff
First time and we loved it ! Service was great and food was out fast . I got the vanilla custard blueberry French toast and hubby got the asparagus and egg dish and both were amazing! Definitely going back
The images were a little quirky, but cute. However, the customer service and food was excellent!
This was my first time here and without a doubt NOT gonna be my last. Took my daughter & her boyfriend and my grandson. Everyone loved the food they ordered and well, the Capt Crunch milkshake was to die for... that alone would bring me back. Great service. And to think I've lived in Baltimore my entire life and just found this place.
The food was great! Ambiance terrific. Service okay!
We went because it was on the list of the top 15 places to eat in Maryland. It was a very interesting place, loved the vibe of it.However the food wasn't all that great. I had the jerk chicken wrap which was kind of blah, onion rings were definitely good , the macho nacho was kinda blah also however the guacamole was pretty good. I also really really enjoyed the brownie sundae. We will probably go again to give it another chance and to try breakfast. Our waiter was very polite and on point he deserved a good tip which he got... read more
