This small, somewhat eccentric café is a local favorite. The décor is certainly part of the café's charm- bright primary colors abound, the thrift store furniture is mismatched; mannequins, dolls and other toys decorate the window sills, walls and even the ceiling. But it's the food that keeps the locals coming back. It's a terrific blend of traditional home cooking and lighter vegetarian fare. The French toast (served all day) is one of the city's treasures.

I love this place! We had Some delicious sausage gravy over biscuits, pancake "pigs in a blanket", and a breakfast dish called "Lucy Fer" plus some milkshakes that rocked! The names on the menu are so creative and the decor has something to look at in every corner! Such a cool place with friendly staff!
This was a standout experience! The decor alone would've made me delirious … Add to that the fantastic food and I am SO coming back here next time I'm in Baltimore. We had the brioche French toast, tofu scramble, and something with a piece of meatloaf on top of a big fried potato cake on a bed of arugula topped with an over-medium egg. And grits of course. All of it ROCKED! (Though I would have preferred the egg over easy, I don't think they serve it that way). Even the coffee was way better than average. The weight on a Sun... read more
Best omelettes ever. Beautifully fluffy, yellow and light. Great variety too.
Absolutely loved it! The food was delicious - had the sausage, mushroom, gouda omelet and can't wait to go back again!
Super yummy .. a must try. I got the spring chicken.. fried potato pancake with spinach and crispy pancetta with over easy eggs and hollindaise sauce 😘
Weird looking place on the outside we almost turned around and went somewhere else figured we'd give it a try I'm so glad we did cause honey that food was everything under the sun. Whenever we're in Baltimore that is our spot to go!
My daughter having already been to the restaurant before.. had been telling about this place..i was memorized by the outside decor and even more when going inside..i sat and looked at the different plates that were being served.. they all looked so yummy..i couldn't wait to get mine..i ordered the grits that had shrimp and a ham type base gravy poured over them..& home fries.. I was DISAPPOINTED... there was too much of the ham gravy ...& barely any grits.. the home fries... weren't real potatoes..I'll be back again to try a... read more
