This small, somewhat eccentric café is a local favorite. The décor is certainly part of the café's charm- bright primary colors abound, the thrift store furniture is mismatched; mannequins, dolls and other toys decorate the window sills, walls and even the ceiling. But it's the food that keeps the locals coming back. It's a terrific blend of traditional home cooking and lighter vegetarian fare. The French toast (served all day) is one of the city's treasures.

Had the smarty pants burger. Was delicious. Service was great and the decor was amazing. Definitely planning to come again.
This was our first visit and we have lived in Maryland for 30 years. We came with my parents who are visiting here from San Antonio, Texas. They truly loved the atmosphere and the food. We would definitely recommend your place to our friends!

Although the menu is good and we are regulars, a poor experience with service left a bad taste in our mouths this morning. It was crowded and we were rushed out of our seats by the control-freak owner/manager. She orders customers around and doesn't allow people to stand or even sit in certain places. Her tone is extremely rude with customers and staff alike. What an unwelcoming experience. This cool spot needs a new, friendlier manager.
When i go to papermoon diner, I come with only 2 needs. Good food and good service. They deliver every time. Thank you

This was my second visit to Papermoon. The atmosphere is great, the fact that they have parking is awesome, the food is good. A little over priced as sandwiches don't come with fries and start at $10. Our server didn't really care for people much either, but the young woman who seated us was pleasant and had to fill in the gaps for our server. Skip the iced tea, it's not fresh brewed and just adds to the bill.
I like the tofu scramble. That's all I get. More vegan options would be great!
