This small, somewhat eccentric café is a local favorite. The décor is certainly part of the café's charm- bright primary colors abound, the thrift store furniture is mismatched; mannequins, dolls and other toys decorate the window sills, walls and even the ceiling. But it's the food that keeps the locals coming back. It's a terrific blend of traditional home cooking and lighter vegetarian fare. The French toast (served all day) is one of the city's treasures.

We've been here before for brunch but tonight we stopped in for milkshakes. The restaurant was far from being filled & there was no one sitting at the counter. When we told the host we only wanted milkshakes, he informed us that there is a $12 minimum per person! If you can turn away business when you aren't busy I certainly won't return any other time.
I came there yesterday for my birthday and my family enjoyed themselves. The food was great and the atmosphere was amazing. Not to mention the staff was AWESOME.

If I could get a negative 5 stars I would! We wanted to try something new for our Sunday family breakfast with our 1 year old and was asked by a guy (not our waitress) "the boss lady said to quite the baby down" she was just being a typically 1 year old! It was very rude and disrespectful. If you don't want children at your place of business then say that like you do about all your other "rules" on the menu! I had a delicious turkey burger with sweet potato fries and a passion fruit shake. Everything was tasty and the decode was clean and entertaining. The wait staff was stellar.
This was our first time and last time going there, not impressed. We asked the Waitress a few questions about the menu and she got annoyed and rude. They do not adjust from the menu if asked to add on items like Corned Beef Hash you have to order the entire meal instead of adding it on as a add on item which would have added $16.95 to the bill plus gave us extra eggs we didn't want. Omgosh! I � love this place. Not just the decor/ambiance, but the food was Amazing! The artist in you will be in for a treat, but the kid in you will be delighted. I'd give them a thousand stars if I could. The service was impeccable, friendly, cool, accommodating...I cannot say enough about how my first visit brought me such joy. We'll definitely be recommending to everyone and going back over and over and over!
