This small, somewhat eccentric café is a local favorite. The décor is certainly part of the café's charm- bright primary colors abound, the thrift store furniture is mismatched; mannequins, dolls and other toys decorate the window sills, walls and even the ceiling. But it's the food that keeps the locals coming back. It's a terrific blend of traditional home cooking and lighter vegetarian fare. The French toast (served all day) is one of the city's treasures.

Always delicious with fast service. Wish they served mimosas!
The shrimp and grits and blueberry pancakes were delicious.

As always, the food was amazing! You get a lot of food for the money. I was only disappointed in the first server. He just looked like he didn't want to be there. Kinda rude/cold. The rest of the staff was great!
Our meal was delicious. Place was clean and uniquely decorated. Overall a first good experience. One suggestion is for improved service. Waiter dropped our meal and never came back. We requested the check twice and when it finally came we had to bring to cash register. No coffee or water refills or even if we enjoyed our meal.
The decor isn't really my "style," but the food was amazing! I had the spring egg, which is a healthier twist on the classic "eggs Benedict"...really great! Everyone in our diverse party of 7 found something to eat, & enjoyed their food.
It was awesome the service only take a little bit late but the food and ambiance are great and also one thing the server ask us already if we are ready to pay but our food is not arrive yet that was rude but still I love the place I still want to go back� patients is vertu
