This small, somewhat eccentric café is a local favorite. The décor is certainly part of the café's charm- bright primary colors abound, the thrift store furniture is mismatched; mannequins, dolls and other toys decorate the window sills, walls and even the ceiling. But it's the food that keeps the locals coming back. It's a terrific blend of traditional home cooking and lighter vegetarian fare. The French toast (served all day) is one of the city's treasures.

First time here and the food was amazing! Definitely would return to dine in. Got seated immediately and had a short wait for my food. Interesting to look at all the decor as well.
Take the time to find this place! Yes, the decor will keep you smiling throughout your stay...but it is the food that will make you want to come back. All 4 of us were thrilled with our breakfasts. Everything was fresh , beautiful and cooked to perfection.
Ran across this place purely by chance. It's bright lights and exuberant paint job caught my eye. The interior decor is a mashup of kitchz(?) and eclectic toys that set the ambiance for a relaxed dining experience. On my trip there I had the turkey burger and my companion had the crab Mac-n-cheese. Both were outstanding though I'll say you could easy order the Mac and share it with someone! If/when I get to Baltimore again I'm definitely going back!
My 1st time here was over 22 years ago. Now it's my children's favorite place to go when we are in the area. We love to play "I spy with my little eye" never gets old. Food is also amazing!
Visited our grandson who goes to Johns Hopkins, he simply had to take us to Papermoon Diner. I had an omelet with the best marinara sauce I have ever tasted. Hope to go again to Baltimore, if so this is one place I will have to go to again.
I visited here with a local friend and two other out of state friends in July. All of us have multiple food restrictions and allergies. Our waitress went out of her way to be sure that we were all accomodated and happy. Our meals were delicious!! Next time I'm in town I cannot wait to come back, not only for the unique ambiance, but also for the fantastic cuisine. Thank you for being a cut above the rest!!
Worst service I've ever experienced!! Rude staff I can't believe there still in business
Fun and interesting place to eat. Everyone is so nice. The food is delicious. I go there for lunch as often as I can.
Needs updated. It's been the same since it opened. Just imagine how dirty that stuff is hanging over your food. At first it was cool, but after a few visits the sticky, painted, wobbling tables are a turn off.
