About this business

This small, somewhat eccentric café is a local favorite. The décor is certainly part of the café's charm- bright primary colors abound, the thrift store furniture is mismatched; mannequins, dolls and other toys decorate the window sills, walls and even the ceiling. But it's the food that keeps the locals coming back. It's a terrific blend of traditional home cooking and lighter vegetarian fare. The French toast (served all day) is one of the city's treasures.

Very offbeat, eclectic and yummy. Went and took the kids for Saturday breakfast. Staff attentive and friendly. Made our family feel right at home. Even the other patrons were friendly and talkative. Food a little pricy, but honestly it was worth it. I had the "Jimmy's Omlete". Portabello mushrooms and carmelized onions with goat cheese. Loved it. Coffee tasty and I never had to ask for a refill. Definitely will go back and we recommend. Easy to get to and plentiful parking. Oh and by the way...loved the thick cut bacon too!

It's an experience! You have to check out the restroom gender specific 'signs'... Might be a bit creepy for some small children but the food is excellent!

Consider the decor to be the entertainment and stimulus for REAL conversation versus the increasingly typical wait time electronic device obsession. Great choice of food; well prepared. Great value. Earnest, collaborative, efficient staff who have capacity for interesting chat when you pursue.
