Dr. Hartzler treated and revised my older knee replacement. He is a professional, friendly, caring physician. I heartily recommend him for assurance of receiving the best care one could wish.
I recently saw Dr. Hartzler about an ankle issue. He is always very professional and reassuring. I especially appreciate that he never makes me feel rushed, takes as much time as needed to answer all of my questions, and goes over the actual X-ray or MRI film to help me understand the injury and what needs to be done to fix it.
I was very impressed with the whole office and set up, even before seeing Dr. Hartzler. He was very gracious and informative of the fact that "we can fix it'. And "it's only up to you. What do you want." Answered all questions with patience.
Dr. Hartzler is very personable and listens to whatever your problems are before examination. He is very thorough and patient and definitely knows what he is doing. He has 30+ years experience and doesn't suggest surgery before trying something else. We will definitely go back to see him if necessary.
Have been treated excellent every time to go to see him
After hip replacement by Dr Hartzler in 2020 I'm in more pain than before the surgery. The doctor never told me what he did wrong but what is happening is the ligament continually rubs against the prosthesis with any movement. The only time I am not in pain is when I am still. Even coughing and sneezing causes me pain. I'm going to a pain clinic to manage my pain. My life has been severely limited.
Dr. Hartzler and his PA Kristen were extremely professional and caring. They put me at ease by taking the time to explain every step of my upcoming procedure and recovery. At every appointment I was greeted with the warmest smiles and any concerns I had were addressed. Excellent experience!
My hip was so bad I could barely walk or get in and out of the car. Now 6 weeks after the replacement procedure I can walk a mile and hardly use my cane at all. Top notch surgeon and medical team. Highly Recommend
